During 2003 I captured my first wedding in the heart of the Garden Route – in George. This happened after I entered the creative field of photography as a picture editor in 2002. The experience that I gained while editing other photographers’ work, has been an indespensible part of why I am where I am today.

I now capture and edit my own weddings, which average on 3000 actualisations per wedding, whereafter I select around 1000 of the best to edit.


A wedding day is one of the most important events of a couple’s life. It is a symbol of commitment and forms part of the foundation of love between two people. Wedding photographs should be timeless, capturing the essence of a celebration while telling a story, without words for years to come.

I understand that weddings should be taken and prepared with the utmost care to ensure that each photograph represents what a couple envisioned.

My style of photography is edgy, witty, creative, clean-cut and fresh.
